Ugh, i really want to blog but i am simply EXHAUSTED from the swim meet. Being fueled only by a redbean bun, a cup of melted tuttifruitti notso frozen yogurt, and a sip of boba tea during the meet, the only thing keeping me awake is Mr. Macasaets face in my head saying " Natasha, you have a B- and a couple of weeks left in school. This is your last chance."

Im quite the pathetic excuse of an asian, here i am celebrating the fact I just received an 80/100 on the test. I guess this is the best i can do, but thing is I really really studied for this. Oh, well!

Anyhows, the reason I am partly neglecting aim and this blog is because Im currently working on my grades, which are steadily rising by the way which means I can actually go out soon. Out, into the light! I feel much like smeagol coming out of his grotto. AKA Peter Vu. Haaha, that little spitfire can really go at it. Recently i witness him attack a fellow student [ much bigger that him] he was practically spitting and clawing like a roancat. Truly he has the heart and stature of a bobcat. maybe a lynx, well, some kind of cat...

UM, i held a conversation with Christine and Rachael for two hours at homework club.
the only thing i did was decide which journal entry i wasnt going to do

lethargy

Im positively wilting like a flower.
So, i was folding clothes on Jeremy's bed and suddenly succumbed to the drowsiness, waking 2.5 hours later. Took a shower and was pleasantly surprised with a icy cold smoothie. This is what moms are for. Except she didn't dry clean my cardigan and now its ruined! ruined! I must go some more floaty, airy, tissue weight summer clothes. Anchored down with leather sandals, the kinds with the strings you tie up around your ankles. 2009 summer essential! Hating how the classrooms are set on perpetual" iceberg" temperature. Im sure the shock of walking outside and inside is bad for your body. kinda like slipping in and out of a hot tub and pool.

However the baking of the day makes the night a anticipated respite...
Pretty soon, its gonna get too hot, and ill start sleeping on the couch. I wish i had a leather one, I like how the slippery coolness feels on my skin.[ Auntie has one]

Time to pull out the hibernating part of my wardrobe. So, due to the terrific heat Jeremy and me decided to have a water gun fight. With the sun blasting us with its rays we pull out our Technicolor-colored guns and fired away. The cool splashes blasting off the heat strokes that was sure to arise. Sigh, i must bring up chemistry, math and viet grades so i can actually Go places. Ive been grounded for a while now. sucks!I was supposed to go to the beach on that glamorously hot Sunday...ARG! but, don't worry Eric, soon, very soon, i promise, we will hit the beach.

summary of vay-cay:

• La, San Diego, Anaheim, Cypress...
• Visiting a beautiful temple. Which had some pretty steep stairs, it was amazing how my grandma clambered up the steps before me
• Splashing around the breakers at San Monica at 730 pm for ten minutes
• Getting kicked out of a korean/ Japanese magazine shoppe ( " no pictures, pureez!")
• Another 8 hours in the car coming home, blast it, now it gets hot huh?
• Catching two big swallowtails at the poolside, yeah, Jeremy brought his bug catching gear
  
• Blindfolded Marco Polo!
  
• Kayaking with Brendy out on Lake Elizabeth; he did most of the rowing for me
  
• BBQ with the gang
• Human pyramid! Im on top! (but not like that sickos...) haha, for the second round Megan fell off the top! oh no D:
  
• haircut, finally! a bit short? I kinda like it though, My cousins are so dense! I cut my hair on Saturday before the BBQ and on Monday Pat goes" did you get a haircut?" Ross goes " nah, on Saturday you had long hair!" Andrew says " did Tram cut her hair?) um, wow guys thanks for noticing * pouts*

Hey guys! currently in Anaheim right now, typing from the hallway hotel guest computer.
Took 6-7 ish hours to get here by car?Maybe longer i must have fallen asleep... I polished off a fat book during the long drive and currently working on " Prisoner of Azkaban". Yay, for nostalgia!Snuggled up in my blanket and armed with a delicious bag of snacks it was quite pleasant.

So, today i visited Balboa Park in San Diego. Which is pretty much about thirteen museums all located in this outdoor plaza. I really wanted to go to the famous zoo but, we got there too late [noon], would have been a waste of money. Sucks that its so cold though! I really want to hit the beach sometime this week, ghastly wind and light drizzles are not bikini wearing weather however. Mmm, where are the blistering hot sands, soft wafting breezes, and sunny skies that vacations are suppose to consist of? hmmp.

Well I'm off the swim team until my grades improve. sniffle. Which sucks because I noticed my scale is fluctuating from my averaged 105 pounds to numbers i have never hit before [114. what the F*ck?]. Plus when i went to the party Saturday my aunts told me I " look like [Ive] gained weight". Oh no! I'm actually really nervous, i just figured it was muscle mass...

Anyhow, Easter Party was a blast. What better nighttime activity to participate in the dark with the gang then, man hunt! Patrick, Andrew, Ian, Ross, Daniel, Jeremy, and me. Base is upstairs in Pats/ Andrew/Nick 's room. Where the only way to free trapped prisoners is to fervently sneak past the stairways. Limits are the house's property no rules except you have to go straight to the base when caught. In sets of two, or solo, the chased are hidden in the best place they could find. The team of hunters set off to hunt out the hidden. What follows are frantic chases in the streets, unexpected saviors , a strong sense of panic, beating hearts, shaking legs, and strategies. Some don't even bother with shoes and just sprint in and out of the doors. nothing better .

renember when?

A rare event indeed. Patrick actually came with us to the park! Well, i suppose it was because he was grounded from wow and had nothing else to do. So, the gang ( Thi, Jeremy, Daniel, Ross, Patrick,Brendan, Me, and Alex( i dont know this kid) heads off to Penetencia. eating otterpops, throwing rocks at Ross's windows, swiping at bus signs. So, it was pretty warm, but with a delicious breeze wafting throught the clear skies. We play on the swings, play basketball, and net a few butterflies. oh yeah, Ross swung the net, twirled in midair and miraculously caught a butterfly backwards . Beast! Benz was at the park with his family and the boys play basketball for the rest of the time. The other half crossed the fields to the tire swings.Quite tramautizing. BBQ and Brendans after! We ate outside on the warm/cool deck and remisinsed about our lives. Renember when we went to the beach last summer and pat went into the ocean with his pajamas? ahahha! yeah, he got all wet and slept for the rest of the time. ha ha, very funny guys, i only had my boxers on after... I love how my family is big, yet we all know each other and share our childhoods. Even Nick, who is now in college joined in. Renember back when i wasn't too cool and hung out with you guys? We all laughed and talked about Hawaii, Camping trips, Yosemite, Vietnam, school, grandma's sleepovers and beach trips. All those times spent doing stupid stuff with each other and not worrying about what others thought. Teasing each other and messing around with hammocks. I miss those times. Now, we're older and mature, but we still do dumb things. Well, theres always days ahead to create more memories. Everyone talked until the deck lights came on and we all got chilly. But, we didnt run out of stories. I call these Campfire days, when we all sit in a circle and renember.

I pulled the film strip from my messenger bag and hand it to Pat. "Well, you know how i spent a day with Ross during the weekend? Well, I sorta started to like him." I confide when he is holding the reel.
"WHAT?WHAT? ooohhhh my god, shit!" He stutters unbelieving and looks up stunned" you should tell him!!"
" I would, but..." i pause . " its april fools" He banged his head against the lockers and laughed in embarrassment. " oh my god..."

mmm, but when i "confessed" to Ross himself i received a blank look and an" oh.." what a jerk! Oh yeah, did you know that April fools was actually held on January first. But, im sure it wasn't called April fools, being a different month an all. I renember reading that they stuck paper cutouts of whales on the back of their unaware friend.
