[20:35] pilzburry d0hb0i: I NEED MY TOES D:!

Wouldn’t it be wonderfully convenient if we could literally roll out of bed and into the shower? Hansgrohe has created just that in the Axor Starck ShowerCollection. The design is based on a central square that houses the shower, and surrounding it is an open-concept bedroom with all the amenities conveniently within reach. It offers a two-in-one deal for total relaxation, blending the restfulness features of the bedroom with the stress-relieving qualities of the bathroom – all in one room. The stream of water from the shower is the focus in this space, and creates the illusion of having your own waterfall in your bedroom. This focus is not interrupted by the shower walls, which are clear glass to allow visual access to the rest of the room. Pure white walls and flooring are contrasted by the dark wood of the open closet that grounds you to reality when the time comes.

super glamorous. watch out guys, thats how my room is gonna look like.
horaah, i get to wake up slightly later due to the fact that i have late schedule. i will monopolize on this situation by staying uo and working on some drawings. i really do need to add some more pieces to my gallery, and think up an icon. freakin' lookbook.design international fair booth, ZONES, tribute contest, swim team stuff...ect ect.
but these are the things that make life intresting. Make it worth waking up.Appreciate that you arent rotting away in some indian reservation stealing just cause there is nothing else to do. embrace the chaos!

embrace it!!

truly, deeply,madly

wasnt today simply gorgeous?!
if the weather keeps this up i might do well on finals after all because: if you feel good, you tend to do better. or so i think. i think the air felt soft. everything was just breezy and warm. and at PE i played some jump rope. i havent done that for a while. heehee, when Nelson came in we sped it up. hyper speed until he tripped. hella mean... :]
gah, even though its perfect for a dip in the pool i have to study study study.
ZONES, oh no! imma die.
my new seat in Luc kinda sucks. im right in front of the projector where he teaches. plus he seperated apart Andrew and Patrick. Q_Q
ugh, lets see how this arrangement works.

Brendy: On Saturday i spent the whole day at a temple. she said it was to "pray for my finals".
Me: So, instead of letting you study, she took you to pray you do well?

Ah! people really get into this stuff... 0_0

tumblers and pitchers

5 in Uno Set of Glasses
Joe Colombo's 5 in Uno Set of Glasses (1970) lets you set your table for a five-course meal, with each guest having their own set of five hand-blown glasses. Nested together, either for presentation or for storage, these glasses create the shape of a stylized flower. As each drink is poured, a different glass is used. Glasses are intended for: spirit, port/prosecco/dessert wine, wine, water and cognac/brandy. Colombo, an innovator in plastics design in the 1960s and ’70s, was the recipient of many awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and 1970. Dishwasher safe. Made in Italy.

SunJar
Tobias Wong, 2006

Inside this traditional Mason jar hides a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery, and low energy LED lamps. Place the jar in the sunlight and the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery, powering the three LED lamps and providing diffused and warm light from the frosted jar during the night. Completely water tight, the SunJar can be left outside in any weather condition and is the perfect garden light or night-light.

Midsummer Light
Tord Boontje, 2004

Designer Tord Boontje employs computerized production processes to create his lacelike shade with graduating color. Made of Tyvek®, a paper-like material that is both strong and lightweight, the shade softly diffuses the light of a 60-watt bulb (not included). Includes a 15-foot cord with standard plug.

Ive always been fascinated by good design. the concept of spending money on a quality item made with thought and care. clean shapes and lines or maybe a twist on a classic.incredible feats engineering or a simply elegant piece.using colors and materials in whole new ways. clocks, tables, lamps, rugs, mirrors, bottles, calenders. just make it worthwhile and totally unmundane. i know what i want to do when i grow up. its design; a fusion of the right and left side brain.

My babydoll Ross has some pretty strange habits and quirks. all the weird thing i can come up with at the top of my head:
  • drinks a glass of orange juice like hes eating it. kinda nibbles the rim
  • showers two times a day, in the pitch dark
  • had a crush on a Paris by Night singer
  • claps with hands horizontal
  • talks as if he has a retainer in his mouth
  • stutterer "is.....is....is..p-p-p-ppat-patrick- home yet?"
  • closet thai drama addict
  • his room is hopelessly messy. i found a pile of towels from every shower he took in the last three days at the foot of his bed ( mattress on the floor)
  • attic has boxes of his baby clothes intended for his future children...if he has any!
  • big imagination for such a small boy
  • impossible for him to talk without big arm gestures and the occasional sound effect
  • can play piano without looking!
  • quite competitive
  • doodles on every scrap of paper he can get his little hands on
  • useless tree climber
  • doesnt do cake
  • " i dont have asian hair! i have Korean hair" haha, stupid
  • warrior-girl and aurora fascination
  • refuses to drink water ( taste bad)
  • pouts when stuff doesn't go his way
but he's mine ladies, back off.
guys too.
except for Mario Maurer :x we can share him

happy high

whoooah! what a glorious day the sky wanted to bestow on us today. the price was a chilly, grey morning however. how i enjoy half days. the knowledge of class being shorter makes the day oh-so sweeter. the only thing that dampered my mood was the horrible horrible grade i recieved in Macasaet. pwahhh. i better make it up on the finals.
haaha. after school i was certainly on some sort of high. there must have been something in the Dasani! ACTUALLY! i think i know what it was! i had a simosa and a bottle of mineral water during seventh period. that must have fueled me up so that i went crazy after school. usually im beat when the seventh bell rings. hmm. thats intresting. so, if you feed me i turn into some sort of insane beast. haha!
rockband 2 anyone? weekend then :D
...i should have turned around instead of settling for watching the mirrored glass...
make it up tommorow.

grab the future by the teeth

baby, am i seeing right? 99 percent? this is what i get for being such a bookworm. seriously, i can polish off a good sized book in the summer. in a day.
sigh. but my math is not terribly high. i should work on that more.
im off, tons of homework doncha' know!
cause' i had piano today, and after taking a shower and all. well, just look at the time this is posted. ahh, i felt so bad though! i couldnt keep my eyes open. ever have that feeling? even if you rub them or try to hold them open. they just close down. i wans'nt even that tired either. when i lay down on the couch while my brother was playing my head hurt from the piano. like, throbbing when he played a scale. i had to cover my ears, then i fell into a restless slumber. it was like the notes were ringing in my mind and actually causing me physical damage.
whats wrong with my body? whats wrong with me? is it PMS?

January 4, 2009

Fujie Urata Matsumoto, relates this scene: "The pumpkin field in front of the house was blown clean. Nothing was left of the whole thick crop, except that in place of the pumpkins there was a woman's head. I looked at the face to see if I knew her. It was a woman of about forty. She must have been from another part of town - I had never seen her around here. A gold tooth gleamed in the wide-open mouth. A handful of singed hair hung down from the left temple over her cheek, dangling in her mouth. Her eyelids were drawn up, showing black holes where the eyes had been burned out...She had probably looked square into the flash and gotten her eyeballs burned."

i have four blog entrees
and a seven page short story
due tomorrow
i spent 1 hour watching stupid youtube videos
i am screwed

ah, Ross i promise ill upload the pictures soon babygirl. i have too much to do right now

take me away

San Fransisco with Tiffany Truong! even though i wore my coat, the cold air still chilled my bones. well, i cannot say how much i enjoyed this full day with my good biology/chemistry partner. ive sat next to her everyday at 3rd period for two straight years now. let me say this, she is a total cruise junkie. during normal classtime she would be quite quiet and subdued. oh, but the stories she tells of her cruisline capers! late night wanderings. pulsing dances, relaxing Jacuzzis, gourmet dining, beach excursions, belly dancing competitions, glass elevators and hot guys ? tiffany, allow me to stow away in your duffel bag next winter ah, well. as i have said. there is nothing i enjoy more than a trip on the Bart. the stations all have a used, urban, vintage atmosphere. i love the way the bart lurches forward and gains sped until everything streaks across the window. me and Tiffany chatted and gossiped up until the May Fair stop when we had to transfer to the Dublin rail. both of us were starving due to the fact we left at ten and had no time to breakfast. so, we chewed gum to stave of the empty gnawing feeling in our stomach. Why all the stores gigantic in San Francisco?

Im envious. they carry much more than the ones back in SJ. Escalators inside the buildings themselves? neat-oh

• Forever 21- three stories. the jewelry rack is filled with delicious baubles and chains. the selection here is a lot bigger. omygod! i saw the boots ive been drooling over...on a mannequin. i asked the saleslady if i could have it, but, to no avail. i should have just discreetly slipped it off and made of with them. ahh, ill check online for it i guess

• Anthropologie- everything in here i love,i after, i have GOT to have, why cant i live in their?!? the texiles are whimsical and down to earth. mm, now i wish i owned a small studio or apartent. so, i could fill it with darling clear plates, seaglass tumblers, owl motiv bedsheeets, mango butter soaps, and faceted Chrystal doorknobs.

• Urban Outfitters- four stories of urban clothing!? take your boyfriend here. because, there's two stories of men's apparel. i want a boyfriend to dress up. haha, the salesguy was so . he had the iest softest voice. and a too tight tshirt and ratted hair. but, i wanted to be rung up by the Abraham-lookalike! totally splitting image with wide rimmed glasses and black beanie. Tiffany says im crazy but... i kept peeking at him cause i think he looks just like abraham. i miss the foxy guy at Santa Row though. Hes fidy times better than these sales guys. only hot guys should be allowed to work at urban if i was in charge.haha

• H&M- big is an understatement. but, despite that. there really wasnt that big of a selection. all them San Franciscan s must have plucked all the decent pieces during box day to add to their bursting wardrobes.

• Nordstrom- four whole floors of expensive designer apparel? a bistro on the third floor? boots on sale for 90 on the second? why cant i be rich enough to buy something rather than wander up the winding escalators with Tiffany? haa. there was a group of rowdy guys in back of us. i must say the asian in blue was quite a looker. Tiffany has her own man and is off checking out strangers. russian/Italian/spanish Canadian how exotic can you get. she always gets the guys with unpronounceable last names on cruises.

walking along the sidewalk while puffing air clouds is sure relaxing. Too bad the trolley trip was not meant to be. the line was ly long. ah, it is true how San Fransico has the oddest assortment of homeless.on the trip home two seats behind us there was a sleeping man laying across two chairs. suddenly he puts up his bare dirty feet! the s that were behind us had to move at the next stop. pretty disgusting. we were both laughing, and this man we were talking to across the aisle. he works at the hotel on Union and commutes by bart everyday.

mmm. i spent most of my Birthday money on this shopping Bonanza. but, about 35 of it went to birthday presents for my friends. and 20 on food. aw, she gave me a glazed ceramic turtle from Mazatlan from her trip to Mexico. it fits next to my frog on the desk.
what a beautiful day, my legs ache from lugging all my bags around. what fun what fun

HAPPY NEW YEAR/ MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

when that ball came down in new york ( albeit 2 hours later) i became SIXTEEN. did you see everyone cheering? all for me baby, all for me
who, i dunno about you guys. but sixteen just seems like the coolest age to be. freedom without responsibility. unlimited expectations and free housing. 2009, this year is going to be beautiful i can tell.hopeful i will be able to mature and become a better person.

lets start with some resolutions.
  1. party; take some chances&follow your heart
  2. think about others; try not to be selfish and don't act without regarding someone else. at the same time, don't always be bothered about what others are thinking all the time. find a healthy balance
  3. work diligently at school; no more B minuses lets shoot for some As now, .
  4. drop some time; kick them legs and churn them arms
  5. procrastination; no more!
the path to self improvement is underway!
there is nothing i love more than a handmade card. showing you put time and effort into a piece of work. inside my room, tucked into a box i have kept all the cards my dear friends have given me. i cherish them and reread them when i get the chance.
that said, THANK YOU ROSS AND PATRICK.
they made the most adorable gift for me. i love it to . basically a " diary of a mad black women" DVD cover with our faces on it. and a 20dollar taped inside the case. with about a mile of clear tape. it took all my concentration to extract the bill without tearing the fabric.
i just love love love love love it. ill keep it always. hear that Ross? forever!
so, for my birthday bash what did we do until the countdown?
charades. what else. why is this game so addictively fun? well, add seven teenagers and give them each impossible subjects and you get. people embarrassing themselves trying to act out things such as lions, chimminy sweeps, water fountains, projectors, globes, brad pitt, eskimos, pillows, funeral and many other misc. stuff... and everyone jumping up and hollering their guesses. it was a blast. i must say.

in a few hours? ill be on the Bart headin' off to San Fransisco to celebrate with Tiffany Truong.
my favorite type of public transportation topped only by the Washington DC subway. ZOOM
