when that ball came down in new york ( albeit 2 hours later) i became SIXTEEN. did you see everyone cheering? all for me baby, all for me
who, i dunno about you guys. but sixteen just seems like the coolest age to be. freedom without responsibility. unlimited expectations and free housing. 2009, this year is going to be beautiful i can tell.hopeful i will be able to mature and become a better person.
lets start with some resolutions.
- party; take some chances&follow your heart
- think about others; try not to be selfish and don't act without regarding someone else. at the same time, don't always be bothered about what others are thinking all the time. find a healthy balance
- work diligently at school; no more B minuses lets shoot for some As now, .
- drop some time; kick them legs and churn them arms
- procrastination; no more!
there is nothing i love more than a handmade card. showing you put time and effort into a piece of work. inside my room, tucked into a box i have kept all the cards my dear friends have given me. i cherish them and reread them when i get the chance.
that said, THANK YOU ROSS AND PATRICK.
they made the most adorable gift for me. i love it to . basically a " diary of a mad black women" DVD cover with our faces on it. and a 20dollar taped inside the case. with about a mile of clear tape. it took all my concentration to extract the bill without tearing the fabric.
i just love love love love love it. ill keep it always. hear that Ross? forever!
so, for my birthday bash what did we do until the countdown?
charades. what else. why is this game so addictively fun? well, add seven teenagers and give them each impossible subjects and you get. people embarrassing themselves trying to act out things such as lions, chimminy sweeps, water fountains, projectors, globes, brad pitt, eskimos, pillows, funeral and many other misc. stuff... and everyone jumping up and hollering their guesses. it was a blast. i must say.
in a few hours? ill be on the Bart headin' off to San Fransisco to celebrate with Tiffany Truong.
my favorite type of public transportation topped only by the Washington DC subway. ZOOM
