WE LOVE YOU AJ, NEXT TIME FOSHO

wonder walls

Yeah, gotta love em' photobooths. Its a feat in itself to cram four teenagers into such a tiny box. Another miracle to take decent shots while jostling to be in the reel, the time limit sends everyone into panic, nobody wants to be caught in a loser pose. So, these things can be counted as a ride. almost.
Well anyways, GREAT AMERICA. free tickets. mmhmm! Gotta thank my brother for those babies. What a delicious thing to do during the weekend. Second day the park opens, so lines were quite short, which is lovely. Um, why did they change Topgun's name? Flight deck? laaaaame! Drop zone also. We start the day early at 9:30, when Ross walks over. Heading over to the door, we encounter the lines. psh! we had our own ticket line, ticket master!
day was filled with:
  • Big rides first; omg, Invertigo is super scary, haha! Looking down people's shirts ftw.
  • sharing a chicken bowl with Ross @ wait for AJ and Nicole
  • Centerfuge, right after i eat? no kidding...
  • Drop Zone! scary , knowing someone actually went splat.
  • walked and walked, talked and talked
  • one, two, lets play zoo...
  • ten fingers...
  • screaming our heads off for awards ceremonies, 100 dollars? treat us out little boy!
  • celebratory bumper cars
  • Afraid to get wet on the log run and standing up during the donut one. mmm, it was hotter yesterday, not really a water day.
  • Funnel cakes, french fries, and lemon-ice
  • Bitch jobs and AJ singing karaoke - we owe you one!
  • Spongebob ride,3D is trippy trippy, haha!
  • ...lots more, but im tired, and i just ate pho so also sleepy.
...very tired! full day of fun, well. off to never never land! We missed you Vicky D:

intense scenes

Toppled to the couch from a rough practice and dined on Miss Vickies's barbecue chips and honey bread and read for an hour. Reading is a time suck, but doesn't this activity sound more educational than say, watching TV? Actually a fairly interesting documentary that would make my old sixth grade English teacher proud is Planet Earth. Jeremy and me use it as a potent sleep inducer. So, When your eyelids are feeling like you used lead based eyeliner on them, but you just cant seem to fall asleep, pop in a "caves" or "Ocean deep" disc into your player. I assure you within half the episode is through, you will have been transported to a place with whipped cream cloud, hazelnut chocolate cottages, and a marzipan moon. That is, dreamland. Or for you guys, scantily clad women, sleek convertibles, and Budweiser lights. Oh, but that's gender profiling, which is frowned upon along with practices such as cannibalism. I suppose there are g ay men out there after all. I assure you there are, even if their closet doors are chained with industrial grade titanium locks.

" A situation for a poet! Come. Shall we collaborate? I'll be your cloak of darkness, your enchanted sword, your ring to charm the fairy princess"- Edmond Rostand

Well, today i performed Cyrano de Burgerac in front of the class with my lovely acting troupe. Swords, plumed caps, capes and apron. I made a delicious Christian, dont you think? ho ho ho!

How is school in Japan like?
  • one class for the entire day, the entire year. So, if your stuck with Bad Breathe Billy-san tough luck.
  • Pe is twice a week. but childhood obesity is not an epidemic there.
  • school uniforms are required everyday
More info to be gleaned from my friend the foreign exchange student. Uresa's first year swimming and she already has beautiful strokes, a natural!

someone to keep me warm?

note to future self: sunny skies does NOT always mean warm weather

this is the kind of weather which i do not enjoy, windy and sun. this makes my hair static-y and it feels uncomfortable. alright, ive had a long day. All because of Jeremy's boyscout meeting mostly. potluck, eeuch! Steven, i salute your teddy bear sacrifice, i would have the will to do so myself!

Impeeta(2:33:42 PM):a scout is trusworthy loyal helpful friendly courteou kind obedient cheerful thrifty brave clean and reverent

snip snip

Miss Nguyen is not pink slipped, thank heavens! That is, the young new art teacher, Miss Nguyen. Not my pen name... Miss Natasha.
She is such a darling with her slight Vietnamese accent. When i peeped around the doorway she was tapping away on her laptop.
" oh! your Jeremy's sister, arent you? was the first thing she says.
" i can tell right away, you guys look exactly the same. Oh, hes one of my favorites! he sits right there in the front, always eating."
shes adorable. my brother does always have stories about her to tell. one day, while learning about texture he is munching on a bag of hot Cheeto puffs. Miss Nguyen is patrolling the desks with a wooden ruler tapping against her palms idly. She spies his opened bag on the tabletop. smack smack smack smack smack smack! she eyes the bag a moment. smack smack smack! those are fat Cheetos! she adds before turning on her heels and resuming her patrol.

anyhow, next year's drawing and painting class will be a blast. With Ross and Ryan and me in the same class, how fun!
  • Dont go to dairy bell for after school snack; go to the donut shop instead. Cause the food is much cheaper. ham and cheese croisaunt, 10 for $1 donut holes, and a cup of green tea ice cream.
  • of course Ross had to take some big bites of my croisant before leaving me alone. " mmm! what is this stuff?" -_- what else would it be?
  • i really cannot concentrate inside the homework centre, but, hey its fun to hang out.
  • I only let 2 people tutor me. Caroline and um, Nick's sister ( darn, forgot her name. but i think she really pretty. I love it when people are beautiful and smart). but the rest look sorta creepy. shallow as hell man.
  • piano= fail
  • but one the bright side i got some snacks, Aloe Vera drink and vanilla mochi ice cream, and some other Misc snacks for school.
  • F. A. N.T.A.S.T.I.C.S must decide on how im going to perform my tshirt surgery. thinking racerback, crochet back, or off the shoulder.

pillow bookends

  1. I found my old Borders card inside a nordstrom box while reorginizin my room! horray, 45 store credits to spend, thus, i am now up to six on my favorite graphic novel series. (btw, im not some y freak. Omg, Tokyo Mew Mew?!? youre kidding right Ross?)Nana is pretty : music, , smoking, , and whatnot. BUT, its not some crazy stuff either. um... yeah. Im pretty sensitive about sounding too asian. -__-
  2. Kings library run! i love this library the best, i always go at least every month. Always has the book that im looking for and its downtown. Which, makes it cool... although parking can be a bitch. Cause im a voracious reader i usually come down the elevator with an armful of books.
  3. renewed my library card. i think i look really, extra chinky in my student Id :c
  4. read " these Granite Islands" romantic realism, current favorite author: sarah stonich

March 11, 2009

The thing is, im trying really hard. Those extra hours Ive put into reading those heavy textbooks at night, after school hours at the tutoring room, skipping swim practices. Even with all that effort, i still got a C. I know, whats wrong with me? Why can't i earn a decent letter? How come im not like my cousin? All A's? It seems the only thing that matters to you guys are the grades i get. It doesnt even seem as though you care about my future anymore, doesnt matter that im happy. Just get A's. When i get A's, i can go places with my friends or hang out. Do you know how hard it is to get them? My classes are HARD. If i dont live up to your expectations, what do i get? Everyday, every SINGLE day, i get lectured, nagged, and put down. Driving in the car, at dinner, doing homework, everywhere. Holy SH*T. I understand a parent that worries about their kids grade, but IM TRYING.On weekends when friends ask if i can go out? NO. the reason? grades? But, Tasha, you just have a B minus, we havent been out forever. yeah, i KNOW. This forces me to constantly say. Oh, ill try to come it depends on parents.
I can never say for sure that ill be there. Cause, you know what? I really dont know. Ever time i go out, you dont know how much i relish it. i dont know the next time i can go.
You know, the real reason im finding stuff to do things afterschool? Its to get away from YOU GUYS. you guys and your goddamn, stupid rules.
Let me just say, when i leave this house, im going to say " F*CK OFF" and drive off. And it will feel so good.

who wins?

Okay, posting at the risk of looking like a Disney channel obsessed tween, i just need to clear this.
Steven Ma and me had a heated debate of Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez during our daily walk to the junior hall.
"Are you crazy?Selena is hella pretty!"
" No way! look at her hair, ughh!"
"Nope, i cant believe you're saying that. Miley thinks shes the "
" We're going by looks here, not personality! and by looks, Miley is preetier"
" no way"
Steven and me often have different tastes. oh,dont move away from me! make sure you prove that you live at your aunt's

Now that I look, they're both very pretty and talented

dial dial

I lost my phone, and with it my parent's trust in my ability of responsibility. next will be the car keys. Ive only had the poor thing for a week, being unused to keeping it on my person at all time, it slipped my mind, and now its gone. forever... very absentminded. The small articles that have fallen into my limbo are countless. Library books, pencils, erasers, Mr.Lucs homework sheets, locker combinations, earrings,However i do believe this is the most expensive thing Ive lost.

People have different ways of dealing with stress. In Ross' case, eating. In the hallways, he was looking down, aww, whats wrong hon? he was called up for cheating on a worksheet by Macasaet and was quite glum. Wanting to cheer his spirit up i offered him some food ( I had bought a bunch due to after school tutoring hunger pangs) he consumed half a ham sandwich in record time. rifling through my stores, he came upon a bag of homemade beef jerky. it was gone before i knew it when he finished nibbling the last piece of meat he peered once more into the bag this time fishing out my strawberry cereal bar.
" oh. oh! gimme some, i love that!" Pat pops out of his corner and holds out his hands. Ross gives a ohfine face and dutifully pulls the bar in half. I should mention the speed at which Ross can eat. He inhales food, big bites, not much chewing, and quickly.
When that is gone, he spys Calvin pulling his famous sandwiches out of his sports bag. ARE YOU GONNA EAT THAT?
Calvin Tsai will forever be renembered to me as the kid that assembles his own sandwich. Its a manwich, three tiers of white bread and stuffed with meat and once mashed potatoes.
Well, that half that sandwich was gone in a second, lost in the awning maw of my friend. Seemingly full we talk a while about trivial matters, and how he should study for the upcoming test rather then depend on classmates for answers. Once more, he looks into my bag and pulls out a spotted banana. " youre not gonna eat that are you?" i exclaim in disbelief. already he is tugging the skin off, or rather attempting too.
" watch how far i can stick it down my throut!" is his reply. And he proceededs to show me, to the awkwardness of the guys around him. lovely.

fabulosity wrapped in a soft sweater

One of my closest friends, Peter Vu, has turned seventeen today.
hip hip horaay.

Ive spent many a late night talking to him, listening to him eat his chocolate cakes and berate his brother over the microphone. In turn, he has endured my train wrecks, rants, and awkward dots.

.................................................happy birthday, boy..........................

Galbraith and Paul

Beautiful textiles offer endless inspiration.
today i went to the library, both school and noble. and i picked up " paper illuminations" a soft cover about the combination of textured paper and lighting. cant wait to start on my children book project for woods. Looking at papermaking gallery books offer me lots of ideas, my fingers are itching. Soon my desk will be chaotic-ly cluttered with an array of materials. During projects i tend to haphazardly stack supplies all across the surface of my working surface. Scraps of colored paper, splattered paint and water, design sketches, tossed assortments of scissors, graphite pencils, and sable brushes and opened reference books. paint a picture of my artist lifestyle?
still waiting anxiously for my magazine, "ready made" to arrive.

hit it up

well, i made a very successful utterly spontaneous trip to the mall yesterday! curled up on the couch i watching my academy of arts dvd and then comes a ring " tasha, go to the mall and pick out my shoes, im coming in half an hour" says Brendan ...and because i need shoes also, i flick off the screen and straighten my hair. Exert-> i think i know what i want to study: industrial design,

Industrial design is an applied art whereby the aesthetics and usability of mass-produced products may be improved for marketability and production. The role of an Industrial Designer is to create and execute design solutions towards problems of form, usability, user ergonomics, engineering, marketing, brand development and sales.[1]

anyhow, when we get to the Great Mall, i get a call from, Brian Tran? hmm? " um, heyy," and the voice that i hear, is not Brian, its...a turns out it was Lauren Yoshiomoto, asking where we are. If the caller Id for Brian is Lauren, then whose is her's actually. hmm, i may need to fix my contact list. Me and Brendy powerwalk halfway across the mall to pick her up. haha! funny thing is, her parents wouldnt like it if she was shopping with a guy, so she told her she coming along with me. Also, she convinced her parents that Brendan's house is mine. We'll see what happens oh yeah, i always pick out Brenden's shoes, and pick out clothes... we toured abvout 10 shoes store to find a good pair, at the end he buys 2 pairs of grey vans ( slipons and laceups) at the first store we had stopped in. GG

i FINALLY bought boots! im so happy, ive been looking for them everywhere. now, i can pull out clothes that i could wear before, because i didnt have riding boots. hhaa, im a slow shopper, they had to wait while i tried on many pairs, just to find the right ones. i tend to be very picky and spend lots of time handpicking the perfect thing. this was a great shopping day, i found just what i needed. sorry Calvin Klein, next time!
shared a bowl of pho with Lauren and dropped her off. Great Mall isnt that bad, it has its perks. although i perfer Palo Alto, Santana, and San Fransisco.

On a different note, i deep-cleaned my room, which means actually organizing everything. coding my clothes by type ( cardigan, dress, long sleeves, jeans,...). Sometimes, i just throw everything on hangers or in the shelves. all i need now is to buy some boxes for storing scarves and my necklaces. im thinking Anthropologie! next week! and i need more green hangers from the container store.

do you need a cuddle?

oh maaaan! why would you do that? this is actually Supermac copying sia's music video for buttons
watch the real one, i think that ones hilarious. why would you make yourself look so ugly! crzy norweigens aahaahahaa! UFF DA! btw i couldnt put that up because, i dont know why
:BUTTONS: she even puts her head in a con dom

cant you kill yourself doing that? breathing into plastic bags
