" would you like me to drill a bigger hole for you?"

yeah, we were on the roof!Me and Annie were matching... climbing down that ladder is sure freakin scary
I worked on that guitar for like half an hour
Aimee and me looked at the drill wielding kid that in front of us. " WHAT?"
It looked like he was going to drill the table.
" you're bagels!"
ohhh, what a strange kid! We started laughing hysterically. And that is how I started the day, with a misunderstanding and a blueberry bagel with my bestie; Aimee.
It was a City year "Mountain" Handprint school beutification project for PHHS.
Let me tell you it was full of laughs and artisticness. We scored the fun of painting a mural, i must say im quite proud of it. I even made a new friend, hes a senior and his name is Young. It might not be spelled like that though, cause i didnt ask. Well, hes graduating and is moving to New York, how freaking awesome is that? I hope his long standing friend of three years and him work something out. Young is also my rival, he said my water swirls looked like " fuzzy skunk tails" Anne and me are quite scared of him and he is refeered to as " the angry artist". Especially after betrating the people working on the camera " It doesnt look anything like a camera, now it looks like loud speakers. Well he wants to leave something behind after he leaves school and this is his way of doing it. I respect that! And you'll know I worked on the mural because my handprint is in the corner.
For Lunch we were given eggrolls and bottled water, so we chatted on the lawn while eating [ Annie, Aimee, Rachael, me] while the occasional ant crawled onto our paper plates. But, whilst the rest of the gang went back to work Aimee and me decided to walk to the farmers market across the street, nearly being run over by Laurie Jeng's mom. Oops
Anyhow, this tookthe whole day and i still cant ge the white oil based paint off of my body even after soap.

aka magic dough

" hey! check out this play-doh, it smells just like mint!"
"really?" sniiiffs
" Kappow!"
"auugh, my nose!"
ahahhaaa!
Man, that never gets old.

In the junior hallways there seems to be a swimming group hangout spot. Huh, I never knew a sport can bring people so close together. Well, break and lunch was fun, even if that Peter Vu boy kept trying to get raisins into my shirt. But, i laid down the law, pow, right in the baby maker. Meh, i felt kinda bad though, Ryan didnt get much lovin' today due to my dad coming early to pick me up from school. And you know how fiercely protective they are.
Club day tommorow, better dress cute and don my sunnies. My poor little blue french hellokitty lunchbox...[its where i keep my money] Im going to be spending money on munchies and refreshments galore tomorows. All for a good cause of course

marine life and seaweed

hidden dephs filled with dragonfish

Thank you Ross for driving us home[ his mom that is], sorry we were so rowdy! It was about time that little boy returned the favor. Should have seen the look on his mom's face when all four of us turned up [Jeremy, Vicky, Brendy and Me] for a ride... When we arrived, Jeremy retrieved a pair of jeans with the promise he would " give it back to me tomorrows! rar!". When me and Vicky decided to attempt to venture into his lair we were shooed out. Per usual it was in it's messy, unhygenic condition. Where's the floor?
Vicky's bus took an ly long time to arrive, but ah well, more time to catch up. She says next year her school will be valley Christian. ekks! Im happy for her but will be missing her terribly especially once waterpolo season begins. Well, she's always welcome to our homes anyhow, i spy many summer adventures. Hurry and fix that jacuzzi up.
Went to Noble library after to pick up some book of abortion after.
  • Mmm, i took a tumble this weekend. Jeremy challenged me into a race to the park, to which i replied " bring it on!". But, due to the uneven pavement and me being unused to shoes i ended up on the sidewalk with badly scraped knees. What was my dear boyscout brother doing whilst? Laughing his -effing head thats what. And pouring a capful of hydrogen Peroxide on my wound didn't help much either
  • I missed the fanime cause of my FRIKIN' RETARDED parents.
  • Visited Carmel, lovely place by the way, very upper class. The beach sucked though because it happened to be a very cold day at the Pacific. Found a seal, however it was , oh bother. Family toured around seeing sights and snapping pictures. OMG! There was a sort of very deep section of the sea right near the shores. Evidently it went down all the way until there are angler fish! It was plain freaky being so close to such deep waters. you can see how the hole kept going because the water was almost black. If someone were to strap your feet mafia style and dropped you in, you would go down, down, down, down.

tips

  • Drink lots of water; bring an environmentally friendly nalgene bottle everywhere
  • Wear sunscreen that the at least SPF 30
  • Bring out those sunnies to reduce sun's glare
  • Dress for the weather. Its the season of tissue weight shirts, open toed shoes, short shorts, strappy tank tops, leather sandals, halters, racerbacks, summery skirts, babydoll dresses.
  • hit up swimming pool, beach, park [ waterballon fights], sprinklers, lakes, creek, or even a little wading pool.
  • Nights out, I love how when the day is burning up, you know come evening it will be perfect. Leftover heat comes out of the pavements. you can go outside in shorts and tank tops and be perfectly comfortable. Add hammock and Boyfriend:D
  • A big helping of ice cream, or frozen yogurt, or smoothie. No soda.
  • I advise against midday naps. Waking up sweating is gross.
  • chapstick!
  • for perfect wavy hair: twirl hair into a bun after shower on top of your hair. Secure with pins and clips. Allow sun to dry. Let down!
  • ..i want to try that, but my hair is too short D:

Sunsplashed

Deliriously hot weekend! The waves of heat radiating off of sidewalks is hot enough to fry kippers. Well, this past week was the week of birthdays; Patrick, Jeremy, and Nick. So, per tradition, we held a BBQ/ ice cream cake party at Andrew's. The gang was there, of course ( Cousins+Ross+Thi). Everyone ate outside under the warm evening glow and chatted. Nick, joined us, but left at nine for a party. We enjoyed each other's company, all us kids who are all close as family, there are no secrets. Migrating inside we start up playing games. Classics such as charades, and " down by the banks" mingled fairly new favorites such as categories, "eye to eye", and count up numbers. Patrick seems to make the easiest subjects
" Bambi" into complicated elbow crawling and pouncing moves. categories is really fun! Just name things from the selected subjected when pointed to. Requires fast thinking, videos games being one of the subjects that went the furthest. Ugh, my family of gamers... Obesity is not a disease by the way Ross! [ yeah, i have to stay home, i caught some obesity from the kid next to me...] Eye to Eye is where you look up at the count of three and stare at someones face, if you and the other person happen to be looking into each others eyes: out! Everyone played into dark and then me and Jeremy raced home in the warm night. Wished i could have stayed up longer though, steaming days equal perfect nights.

Saturday at church there was a fairly long tribute to a priest that is retiring. Haha, My little cousin was dancing in a bright blue ao dai as part of the performance. It was quite rude how people left before it was finished because it went overtime. Sucks for them because there was a delicious reception afterward. So, Jeremy, Pat, Andrew, Nick and me filled up our paper plates and headed out into the blistering heat. We had a great time capering around and getting deformed balloon animals from the Mexican clown.
" oh, is she your friend?" he smiled to Andrew
" oh no, thats my cousin" Andrew replies awkwardly
Then, he hands him a yellow "flower dog" balloon .There was even a staple attached to the end of the rubber, if we pulled it out the animal would deflate. He was hilarious, we could even understand anything he said. His " what you need" sounded like " Where you live"...
" umm, i live near here?" haha!
Then, we hung out on the playground, launching each other off the bridge. After some time, the heat got to us [ Andrew was wearing jeans] and we headed home. Since it was much to hot to do anything else we went to Quen's house. The ex-President's brother Dat is my sisters best neighborhood friend. I love Dat, hes my favorite little kid. For some reason he calls me " Tofu ".Well, they have a pool, so we came over. ooohhmy goodness! The water felt DIVINE. Like, it was perfectly cold, not enough to make you shiver, but enough to completely cool you off comfortable. Jeremy and me took turns pumping up an inflatable raft and that was the main attraction. When we were not relaxing on the thing, we were fighting each other for it. We held battles about who could stay the longest on it. Much joyful splashing and tanking over ensued. We stayed there for about three glorious hours, walking home exhausted at six.

High King Peter is speaking

Today was a jam packed with a mishmash of adventure and triumph!

Bug catching with my friend Vicky aka Queen of the water Bugs has got to be one of the funnest things to do. Her mother gave us a ride to Brenden's house where we made a strawberry smoothie while waiting for Daniel to come home from P.M.S. Then we head off to the Perc Ponds, which by the way has a much wider variety of insect life than Penetencia. First thing we catch is a ferocious water bug underneath stoner bridge under a huge rock in the middle of the creek. DISGUSTING! those things are the most vile bugs ever created, but a rare find indeed, it only took like ten minutes. While walking down the alleyway we spot a family of ducks, with baby ducklings furiously paddling their flippers to catch up with their mommy. super adorable! haha, we also met Timmy and his friend walking along the path. Procrastinators! Next bug snagged is a Tiger Swallowtail, we stalked and chased it all around the bridge until i finally nab it with a beautiful swing. Score number two. Jeremy brought his friend Edward along, hes a really cool guy. When they were jumping the fence his jean's pocket got caught on the wire, almost ripping his jeans when he jumped down. Wandering in the lost wilderness it really feels as though you are in an exotic land. Passing by a splintered cabinet that was tossed carelessly along the bushes we suggested pretending we came through it into this strange land. Like in Narnia! We even found a coconut lying by the rushes. So, "Endmund" smashed it open with a rock and pulled the hard shell apart. What we found inside was some fresh coconut juice, which we all cautiously sipped. The flesh was quite hard, is what Jeremy noticed. yes, we ate a coconut we found by the creek... We passed by some small caves where the talking beavers and badgers live. Then climbed around the White Witch's lair [ septic drain?] Before the bug foray ended we had found another one of those despicable creature called ferocious water bugs. Lots of people were out catching bugs today like John&kelly, which i think is utterly adorable how theyre best friends for like ever, Ham, Pacada, Charles, BEnz,Tat, and random people...

...
Grr! Abraham sucks, he totally engulfed my ice cream cone with his mouth. Ugh... even after promising he'll take only a small bite, "his bite is worth ten human bites".

This fantastic day was wrapped up with a very quick practice and some technique training. So, ill be gone tomorrows as will the rest of the swim team due to finals. Still have to finish up on that childrens book though thats the only homework i have to do. Talent show at seven, i get extra credit for two classes. I would write more but, im kinda worn out, musta walked 3 miles huh Vicks? I HAVE TO WAKE UP EARLY NOOOOo
Oppa,yip yip.

Humidity hits me like a solid wall of warmth. I utterly detest it. how can the sky be cloudy and yet the air feel so constrictive and moist? Freshmen have swimming for PE. I should be fairly used to the smell of chlorine but yet i can get over the fact that the lockerrooms reek. Maybe its the toxic combination of 50 different assortments of body spray and warm shower. The only thing i can be optimistic about this amazon heat is that it makes the water feel oh so good during practice. Cant wait for open gym to begin, but thats at the end of school... Gotta get rid of this one piece tan.bikininininini season!

Vicky came over to hang in that little pocket of time of when school lets out and swim practice begins [4:45]. We feasted on garlic mashed potatoes, tostitos, cucumber slices, and niblet corn. Delish! Although I felt quite full during our sets. May i mention how wonderful tapering is?!? sets of 50s on the minute! Main set seeming to be the six 150 swim with a 25 easy and 25 dive sprints. Wonderful, this is what i live for, easy practices and meets.

oh yeah, Swimming B divison Finals are on Friday @ Indy. I get to skip the entiree day, plus JV race in the morning times so i get the rest of the day just to hang out. Sweet, just like at West Coast. I do hope they hold siestas at midday, for when the sun is just to hot. Mmm, reminds me of naptime during Far Westerns last summer. sexy, sexy, bodies piled up under the gazibo. Ill leave the rest up to your imagination. ;-)

plumpy

OKkkk, its official, I am never going to take time off of swimming anymore, no matter how lazy I become. BECAUSE. I felt like a fat person today at practice, my arms were lead, my legs beat like a windmill in a ravine, and my flipturns/ dolphin kicks suck!Better than Serena though, that weird oafish girl that strip changes naked in the locker rooms. Who does that? dont turn around dont turn around dont turn around... please God, dont turn around!
Anyhows, today, i signed up for the blood drive. EKk! A precious pint of my platelets will be sucked out of a vein and collected in a medical pouch. Can you bottle lifeforce? But, Im doing this for those irresponsible children that done gone spilled their own and now require some of mine. My blood is 100% organic, Vitamin D infused, type O/A, and contains trace amounts of plutonium plasma. This ensures the consumer will be endowed with longevity, superhuman hearing, and/or increased libido. I strongly urge everyone to fill up a pint! Just sign up in the main hall at lunch, must be 16 and weigh more than 110 pounds.Oh and make sure you don't have HIV or any other infectious agents. That means you Swine Flu kid, you know who you are, you sick bastard.
Speaking of swine flu, I ran head on into some Mexican kid today, boy I sure can be unaware sometimes. Better go douse myself in hand sanitizer.I kid, although I did run into one today...
